Awards were presented at the Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on Friday, May 20th, graciously hosted by Cherry Crest Faculty & Staff to honor and thank all our school volunteers.Ā

The PTSA Communications team has two volunteer openings for the 2022-2023 school year.
|
We seek a VP for Communications, who oversees the work of the volunteers who assemble the weekly Charger Chatter newsletter, the PTSA website, the Facebook page, and and maintains the online student directory. Time commitment is approximately 2 hours/week. Technical knowledge is not required!
|
Second, we seek one or more volunteer newsletter editors to assemble the weekly newsletter from news posts on the Cherry Crest PTSA website. The newsletter editor collaborates closely with the PTSA webmasters, ensuring recent news postings are presented in the newsletter as effectively as possible. Preparing the newsletter takes 1-2 hours on the weekend.Ā The skills needed to produce the newsletter from our WordPress website are easy to pick up, so no prior skillset is required.

In the Community Bulletins section of the PTSA website and newsletter, we pass along information submitted to the PTSA newsletter editor which may be of interest to Cherry Crest Families. No sponsorship or endorsement is made or implied by the PTSA or the Bellevue School District.

ArtSci offers weekly summer camps for children ages 8-10 in Bellevue. Workshop themes include photography, musical theater, short film creation, dance workshops and more. Register by May 30th.
|

|
PSLA offers 4 weeks of half-day (9am-1pm) summer camp from June 27th to July 22nd for students entering 3rd, 4th, or 5th grades in the 2022-2023 school year.
|
PSLA offers a wide variety of themes, ranging from theatre to STEM to Olympics, and everything in between. We have designed this camp to be 100% outdoor and fun for everyone. This is PSLAās third year, and we are extremely grateful to be able to serve the Cherry Crest community.

About This Newsletter
|
The Cherry Crest Charger Chatter is emailed to families and staff on Tuesday mornings. The deadline for submissions to the Chatter is the preceding Wednesday by 7pm. Read our submission guidelines
