Our final fundraiser of the school year is officially here! On Friday, June 5th, our students will be hitting the field for the annual Cherry Crest Walk-a-thon. This is an incredible community tradition, and this year, we have set a goal to raise $40,000 to support our school's vital programs.

Every lap counts, and every donation brings us closer to our goal. Here is everything you need to know to get ready:

🎒 Step 1: Complete the Required Permission Slip
|
|
|
Every single student needs an online permission form filled out, even if they aren't walking after school. Students with a completed form can also walk laps during Lunch Recess to earn participation prizes!
|
Action Required: Please fill out the form for each of your students by Friday, May 29th.
|
💰 Step 2: Donate & Support Your Grade
|
|
We are using Givebutter this year to track our progress. You can donate directly toward your student's specific grade-level fundraising goal.

90% Class Participation in Fundraising: Any class that reaches 90% participation through Givebutter donations wins an Otter Pops recess.

Grade-Level Goals: Every grade that hits its fundraising goal will get an extra special snack at the Walk-a-thon.

Top Fundraising Class: The class that raises the most total funds gets the ultimate prize—they win the chance to Silly String the Principal!

Parents vs. Staff Race: Cheer on your favorite teachers—or lace up your own shoes to represent the parents—in our highly anticipated Parents vs. Staff race!

We Need Volunteers: Events like this can't happen without our amazing community. We need hands on deck to help with everything from counting laps to passing out water.
