Join Cherry Crest PTSA by Friday, October 20th for a chance to win Principal for a Day for your student/s! One lucky member will be drawn, and their student/s will get to “rule the school” with Mrs. Stedman.
They will start planning the day's work, likely visit classrooms, and determine how best to support the school. The Principal for a Day will enjoy lunch and recess monitoring and planning for an upcoming assembly. What a memorable day! The boss will go home with a fresh perspective and a signed certificate commending their hard work!

Join us in the school cafeteria on Friday, October 20th for our first Family Movie Night of the year! Doors will open at 5:45pm, with Super Mario Bros. starting promptly at 6:00pm.
Concessions available for pre-sale until 10/18 and during the event. Make sure to bring a blanket & pillow for comfy seating. Students must be accompanied by an adult; this is not a drop off event.

The much beloved Family Engineering Night is coming up Friday November 3rd at Cherry Crest Elementary. We have 9 all new super challenges for families, 2 high school robotics teams and small robot coding.
PTSA is asking for donations to support this event. Please drop off toilet paper rolls and small boxes to the main office. You can also purchase items from this wish list and they will ship directly to the school. Thank you for your generosity and we can’t wait to see you November 3rd!

Cost: The Spelling Bee is sponsored by the PTSA and is free of charge.

How it works: All students registered can download the word list starting October 24, 2023 from the Cherry Crest PTSA website. At the preliminary round, all participants will be grouped by their grades. Top performers in each grade will enter the final round in early spring 2024. The Champion from the final round will represent Cherry Crest in the Regional Spelling Bee contest.

Reflections Art Submissions are Due November 17th!
This year’s theme is "I am Hopeful Because..." and art categories are Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography and Visual Arts

All submissions will be exhibited in the school and students can vote to pick the People's Choice.

Does your student enjoy science, technology, engineering, art and/or math? We invite students Pre-K (age 4+) through 5th grade to join our monthly camps during the 2023-24 school year! Wise Camps is offering five STEAM nights on Wednesdays from 5-7:30 p.m. where students rotate through five exciting stations and a Costco Pizza dinner is provided! Note: On Wed, Oct 18th join the Wise Camps team for a Halloween Themed evening. Cost of STEAM nights is $50.
