- Help us make Family Engineering Night awesome! Gather toilet paper tubes, small boxes (any depth and 6x6 inches to 12x12 inches), and snack boxes (cereal, cracker, etc). Please put in boxes ahead of time or bring them to the event. We need lots!

Math Challenge 2023-2024
The program is completely free and no sign-up is necessary. This is a fantastic opportunity for families to be involved and enjoy math through fun and engaging math problems. All students in Cherry Crest Elementary are invited to participate.
How to Participate: Access the current challenge by clicking the big blue button on the top.
There are 15 challenges each school year. Each challenge will be released on a Friday. You have until the next challenge date to complete it (normally 2 weeks).
The solutions will be released along with the next challenge.
A Google Form will be used to track participation. Parents will grade the challenge using the solution released and submit results by filling out a Google Form. (See schedule below here for links to Google Forms.)
NOTE: Please make sure to use the same name for each submission. The name is the primary way to track participation.
All students who participate in 10 or more challenges will receive a certificate and a small prize at the end of the school year.
Since Cherry Crest started late for Math Challenge, the first two challenges MC1 and MC2 will be optional.

What is Staff Appreciation? Each year Cherry Crest families show their appreciation for our outstanding educators by volunteering to provide food, beverages, and paper products throughout the school year to help restock the staff room and encourage our teachers with a monthly breakfast. Each Grade is assigned one month to focus their efforts… November is your month!

*Most items can be brought in with your child. Deliver them to Mrs. Kramer in the main office on the date you sign up for.
*The first Friday of the month is a breakfast for staff. If you’re able to contribute, please bring in hot items at 7 a.m.

Math Club Cherry Crest (MCCC) has one of the best records in elementary math competitions in Washington State. The PTSA is proud to offer all students in grades 2nd-5th an opportunity to join Math club this year as well.
|
Math Club will meet online over TEAMS every Wednesday, starting October 25th, 1:30 - 2:15 for Class 1, and 2:15-2:45 for Class 2.
|
Deadline for children to register for math club is Oct 31st.
