We need their help!! We invite all Cherry Crest Elementary 5th grade students to enter artwork for our Yearbook Cover Contest! Our panel of judges will select one entry to be on the cover of this year's yearbook, in addition, the artwork will be modified to become the design for the Walk-A-Thon tee-shirt! We can't wait to see what amazing artwork our students have to contribute this year. Rules for submission can be found on our yearbook website (where you can also make sure to purchase this yearbook of memory!).

The Girls on the Run Spring 2024 Season is right around the corner and we have limited spots available on the Cherry Crest team!
|
Girls on the Run is so much more than running. 3rd through 5th grade participants will have fun, make friends, increase their physical activity levels, and learn important life skills. Trained and caring coaches lead participants through interactive lessons and movement activities that help to increase their self-confidence, develop healthy relationships, and feel good about themselves, inside and out. In fact, 97% of participants said they learned critical skills to manage emotions, resolve conflict, help others, or make intentional decisions. Meeting twice per week after school, the season lasts 8 weeks and runs from the week of March 25th through the week of May 20th with a celebratory 5K fun run at Renton Memorial Stadium to cap off the season. Meetings take place at Cherry Crest and will be on Mondays and Thursdays, 2:30-4:00 pm.
|
*Partial and full scholarships are available to any family in need. Any reference to “girls” includes gender-expansive and non-binary youth.

No previous music or singing experience necessary. Choir is in Seattle, but Cherry Crest Students are currently in the choir and have been in the past as well! Northwest Boychoir offers the perfect blend of music training and Serious Fun!
