Our final fundraiser of the school year is officially here! On Friday, June 5th, our students will be hitting the field for the annual Cherry Crest Walk-a-thon. This is an incredible community tradition, and this year, we have set a goal to raise $40,000 to support our school’s vital programs.
|
Every lap counts, and every donation brings us closer to our goal. Here is everything you need to know to get ready:

Walkathon is our year end fundraiser to close the $40k PTSA budget gap for the year. We are excited to bring you this community event before the end of the school year.
|
There will be opportunities for parents to participate too just like last year and grade level prizes for participating and fundraising.
|
This is an after school event from 2:30pm to 4pm. Parent supervision is required and permission slips will be sent home for participating.
|

Your generosity, time, and kindness made our teachers and staff feel seen, valued, and appreciated all week long. It takes a village to support a school community, and Cherry Crest families continue to show just how amazing that village is.

At the beginning of this school year, we continued with use of the Remote Learning Absence (RLA) coding, that was utilized last spring when students were absent from a virtual class. If you are planning on traveling outside of Bellevue and plan to continue to participate in remote learning, you must contact cherrycrestattendance@bsd405.org. Washington State’s OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) has mandated strict rules on who can and cannot continue to access online classes when they are out of their school's attendance boundaries. Please email before you make any travel plans!
