Library Updates and Volunteer training

Message from our Librarian, Mrs. Lux: THANK YOU so much for the library volunteers who have been coming in to help check-in books, shelve books and help during class checkout time.

It makes such a world of difference for me to be able to work with students to help them find books, make suggestions and answer any other questions they have during class time without tying up the line.

If you are interested in becoming a library volunteer, I am offering more training sessions this month.  You do not need to sign up, just show up (sign in at the office, have a copy of your vaccine card to show the office staff the first time you come, and then head up to the library for a 20-minute session (kids welcome to come with you).

Next session:

  • Thursday 1/20 @2:30

If none of these times work with your schedule please email  luxja@bsd405.org to set up an individual time where you can shadow another volunteer.

**NEEDED:  individual(s) who are willing to cover paperback books for the library.  This can be done at home or in the library office at any time.  Training provided! Email me at- luxja@bsd405.org if you are interested
