Do you have a student attending Odle Middle School next year? The Odle PTSA seeks you!

Free and Reduced Priced Lunch

If you think you might be eligible for free or reduced-price lunch, but haven’t yet signed up, please do so now! Here is the application: https://bsd405.org/services/nutrition-services/free-reduced/

Why the urgency? We expect government funds may be made available to families signed up for free or reduced-price lunches. These would be passed on to families to cover the cost of meals they have had to purchase while school has been conducted remotely.

If you aren’t sure if you have signed up for FRL, please call BSD’s Nutrition Services office at 425-456-4507 to confirm.

First Grade and Kindergarten Return Next Week

The Building Safety and Health Conditions Review Team for Cherry Crest met on February 24, 2021 to conduct a review of health and safety conditions both in the building and in the larger community in order to determine whether or not to expand existing in-person services by another grade-band level at this time. As a result of our meeting, we voted to start in-person services for 1st grade this Monday, March 1st and for Kindergarten this Thursday, March 4.

BSD Family Engagement Survey

The Bellevue School District is conducting a survey on family engagement in order to strengthen relationships between schools and families. Creating meaningful partnerships with parents helps students succeed both academically and socially. When families engage, student attitudes and behavior are more positive, attendance is better, there are more opportunities to honor diverse cultural backgrounds, and open communication allows us to learn from each other.

District Meals2Go New Pick-Up Times

Top 5 Tech Tips

Supporting student technology needs during remote learning is important to the Bellevue School District. The following are the top five questions families have and their solutions:

1.    What is my ParentVUE activation key?
2.    How do I monitor my student’s online behavior?
3.    My student’s device is constantly freezing in Teams. What do I do?
4.    My student is unable to access content that should be available. What do I do?
5.    Where do I find my student’s Teams meeting links?
