STEM Club Meeting 6/17

The STEM Club meeting will be held on Fri, Jun 17, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Cherry Crest Cafeteria. This is for rising 3rd grade to 5th grade students.

We will start with FLL (Robotics) presentation by elementary kids team (They will represent US in Global competition)
We will have detailed and group registration information for FLL (Robotics)
Science Olympiad event declaration and plan
Math club next year competition list to be registered.

Theme for Art Reflections 2022-2023

Calling all Cherry Crest Artists

The theme for next year’s art reflections has been announced: “Show your Voice!”

Arts Categories
Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts

Arts Divisions
Students participate in the appropriate division for their grade: Primary (Pre-K – Grade 2), Intermediate (Grades 3-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8).

Students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504 may enter in the Special Artist Division or grade division most closely aligned to their functional abilities.

Safety Closet Inventory: Volunteers Needed!

We are in need of 2-4 parents/older student volunteers interested in helping our safety team with a full inventory of the Cherry Crest Emergency Supply closet. We haven’t done this in years and will spend time on June 22nd doing so to ensure a positive and safe start to our new school year. Cherry Crest yearbooks are coming soon!

Yearbook

Yearbooks will be distributed to students in classrooms by teachers on Wednesday June 15 for all families that preordered a yearbook. There is a small supply of additional yearbooks which can be purchased after school in front of the school on Jun 15 and 17 for $25 (checks payable to Cherry Crest PTSA).
