Planet Youth Project – Spring Classes Starting!

Planet Youth Project (https://www.planetyouthproject.org/) is a teen-led nonprofit organization based in Sammamish, Washington. We bring together high-achieving high school students to collaborate on climate outreach efforts. As part of our mission, we offer free programs to local elementary school kids introducing them to climate change with an engaging curriculum focused on action.

The spring session of the Planet Youth Project will be starting as early as April 23rd, and includes several free, 8-week class options:

1. Sustainable Living (all grades): Mondays at 4:30-5:30PM, from April 25th to June 13th
2. Intro to Climate Change, Grades 1-3: Tuesdays at 4:30-5:15PM, from April 26th to June 14th
3. Intro to Climate Change, Grades 4-5: Wednesdays at 5:30-6:30PM, from April 27th to June 15th
4. Environmental Innovations (recommended for grades 4-5): Saturdays at 2:00PM, from April 23rd to June 11th

We strongly recommend starting with one of our intro classes, but it’s not a requirement!

Spring for Schools 2022

Join us in person at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue, on May 13, 2022, or from the comfort of your home for a premiere event that’s unlike any of the 31 events of years past. We are keeping your experience and health top of mind as we prepare to celebrate our stars—students and educators in all 29 public schools in Bellevue. Throughout this school year, over $800,000 in distributions from the Foundation directly support the academic, artistic, social, and emotional development of almost 20,000 students. Spring for Schools is a fundraiser to ensure critical programming provided by BSF continues; donations will be leveraged to transform public education in our community.

While registration for Spring for Schools is free, it is our hope that attendees celebrate our students, educators, and mission by making a donation at this time here. https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?id=100&name=E5040
