Seeking Delegates for Advocacy

On October 21-22, PTA/PTSA members across Washington State will gather virtually to debate and amend the Washington State PTA’s platform for advocacy. During the two-day assembly, attendees can also attend education sessions focused on current issues and advocacy basics. You can pick and choose what to attend. Listen, learn, and lend your voice to issues important to your family! Cherry Crest PTSA is looking for 3 members to represent us as voting delegates. Register(https://whova.com/portal/registration/legis_202310/) yourself as a voting delegate by noon on Thursday, October 5th. Questions? Contact legislativerep@cherrycrest-ptsa.org.

PTSA Family Dinners

Join fellow classmates and their families for dinner in the school cafeteria! Meet your child’s new classmates and reconnect with friends. All family members, including siblings, are encouraged to attend. PTSA leaders, Principal Erin Stedman and Assistant Principal Amy Chu are excited to connect further with families at this event.

Families can pre-order dinner(https://www.cherrycrest-ptsa.org/events-calendar/family-dinners/) (Qdoba buffet with meat, rice, beans, fajita veggies, chips, etc) or bring their own. Seating will be by class so you can build strong relationships early. Dinner is from 6:00-7:00pm followed by time on the playground until 7:30pm. Questions? Contact familyfun@cherrycrest-ptsa.org.
