Scholastic Book Fair is March 11th-15th!

The Scholastic Book Fair will be held from Monday, March 11th to Friday, March 15th, open during lunch recess and after school. We need volunteers to help with setup and tear down of the Book Fair, to run registers and help during lunch recess, after school and during Family Night before the Variety Show on 3/15. Please sign up to volunteer!

Get Ready for an Exciting G5 Promotion Event

5th Grade parents, please join us to celebrate all 5th graders! The event will take place on Wednesday, June 21, 8:30 – 9:45 AM.
8:30-9:20 am: Memorable Ceremony in the Café and Gym
9:20-9:45 am: Social in the Undercover Area
9:45 am: Magic show, outdoor games, pizza lunch (only for students and volunteers)

New Family Information Night

Do you know a new family joining Cherry Crest Elementary this fall? All new families are welcome to join Mr. Steere and Mrs. Stedman for an informative night about all things Cherry Crest on Wednesday June 14th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Learn about arrivals, dismissals, bus transportation, after school care and more. Take a self-guided tour of the school and get signed up for Cub Scouts or Girl Scouts. Global Peace Run Visit on May 9

Cherry Crest Running Club is excited to welcome members of the Sri Chinmoy Oneness Home Peace Run on Tuesday, May 9th during lunch recess.  This global torch relay has teams run through over 100 countries with a simple goal – “to create a feeling of goodwill among peoples of all nations.”  Students will hear the runners’ message of peace and be able to join them for a few laps around the school track.  Questions? STEAM Nights/Academic Day Camps offered by Wise Camps

Does your student enjoy science, technology, engineering, art and/or math? We invite students Pre-K (age 4+) through 5th grade to join our monthly camps during the 2023-24 school year! Wise Camps is offering five STEAM nights on Wednesdays from 5-7:30 p.m. where students rotate through five exciting stations and a Costco Pizza dinner is provided! Note: On Wed, Oct 18th join the Wise Camps team for a Halloween Themed evening. Cost of STEAM nights is $50.
