Calling all Cherry Crest students to become Global Ambassadors and show off their incredible geography skills!
Passport Club is a long tradition at Cherry Crest that connects students with their Cherry Crest CommUNITY and opens their eyes to their greater global community where kids just like them are also learning and living and growing each and every day!
Every month we will learn about new countries and cultures, celebrating some that are already part of our Cherry Crest student body who come here from all over the world.
Please join us as together we learn how diversity can make us stronger and challenge us to go further as we discover exciting new things about each other and our world.
Each enrolled student has a map booklet. They are based on the level knowledge of the world map. There are 2 groups: Lvl 1-3 and Lvl 4-5. New enrollees will be given a booklet from us to their teacher (to take home), and assigned a passport (kept at school)

Group 1: Kinder and 1st (lvl 1) 2nd grade (lvl 2) 3rd grade (lvl 3)
Group 2: Lvl 4-5.
Each month has specific countries per level. I divided the groups by grade.
Kinder and 1st (lvl 1) 2nd grade (lvl 2) 3rd grade (lvl 3) etc…
Level 4 is tricky, there are 10 countries per month, last year I assigned just the 5 on the left of the list. This year I’ll give the list on the right.
K-4th only need to be able to find the country on the map. It’s a fun club!
Once a month, usually the last available Friday of the month (pending holidays) We have a club check-in at the front of the school during lunch/recess time. It runs from 11-12:30 with one person going to the enrolled Kindergarteners classes at 11:50 to quiz them.
