Calling 5th Grade Parents – Memory Book Help!

Memory books are a long-standing Cherry Crest keepsake, given to each 5th grader as a memory of their time at Cherry Crest. We are looking for help with ideas of what to put in the book, help gathering content, and help putting the books together.

Please email 5thgradeevents@cherrycrest-ptsa.org to share you ideas or to volunteer your time!

Library Updates and Volunteer training

If you are interested in becoming a library volunteer, Mrs. Lux is offering more training sessions this month.

THANK YOU so much for the current library volunteers who have been coming in to help check-in books, shelve books and help during class checkout time.

It makes such a world of difference for our librarian to be able to focus on students: helping them find books, making suggestions and answering questions they have during class time without tying up the line.

“Focus on Advocacy” week is January 17-21, 2022

Sign up for the WSPTA Action Network to learn how you can impact legislation and budgets affecting your student’s education!

Parent Teacher Student Associations (PTSAs) have the primary goal of advocating for ALL children.  While Cherry Crest PTSA focuses efforts at the school and district level, Washington State PTA leaders guide advocacy efforts at the state level.
