Scholastic Book Fair is March 9th-12th!

The Scholastic Book Fair will be held from Monday, March 9th to Thursday, March 12th, open during lunch recess and after school. We will also have a special family night on Friday, March 6, where families can come shop the book fair before the PTSA family movie night!

Volunteering? Take Photos and send them over!

We’d love to feature more of our students in the yearbook! If you’re helping with a class field trip, party or any school activity, please consider snapping a few photos to share.
To help us get the best shots:
  • Include at least three kids with faces clearly visible
  • Aim for eye contact and natural, happy expressions
  • Use natural or bright lighting whenever possible

Your photos help us remember all the happenings throughout the year. Thanks for contributions in capturing these memories!

Girls on the Run is BACK at Cherry Crest for Spring 2026!

Girls on the Run is coming back to Cherry Crest for the Spring 2026 Season! Girls on the Run is so much more than running. 3rd through 5th grade participants will have fun, make friends, increase their physical activity levels, and learn important life skills.

Meeting twice per week after school, the season lasts 8 weeks and runs from the week of March 23rd through the week of May 18th with a celebratory 5K fun run at Renton Memorial Stadium on Sunday, 5/17, to cap off the season. Meetings take place at Cherry Crest and will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30-4:15pm.

2026 Cherry Crest Variety Show

The 2026 Cherry Crest Variety Show is coming your way on Friday, April 24th.

To participate, please submit your talent by Friday, February 6th, 8pm PST.

Variety Show is open to G2 – G5. GK & G1 participation limited.

Attention Kindergarten Families! February is your month for Staff Appreciation!

What is Staff Appreciation? Each year Cherry Crest families show their appreciation for our outstanding educators by volunteering to provide food, beverages, and paper products throughout the school year to help restock the staff room and encourage our teachers with a monthly breakfast. Each Grade is assigned one month to focus their efforts… February is your month!
