Yearbook Cover Contest: Calling All 5th Grade Artists!

Have a 5th grader? 🎨 We need their creativity! Cherry Crest Elementary is inviting all 5th grade students to enter their artwork in this year’s Yearbook Cover Contest.

The winning design will be featured on the cover of the yearbook—and the grand prize? The artist will serve as “Principal for the Day!” What an exciting opportunity to leave a unique mark and experience leadership firsthand. We can’t wait to see the incredible talent our students have to share.

Submission Rules Theme: “Igniting Inspiration” – incorporate this theme & “Cherry Crest 2025 & 2026” into the design.

Paper: Use an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper with a vertical orientation.

Labeling: Write the student’s name, grade, and teacher’s name on the back of the paper in pencil only (to avoid it showing through the artwork).

Deadline: All entries are due by Feb 27th.

Submission: Drop off entries in the PTSA mailbox located in the Cherry Crest office.

Tips for a Great Entry Maximize Space: Avoid white space—fill the entire sheet with color, including the background.

Go Bold: Use vibrant colors and make the design stand out! Stick to the Theme: Be creative in incorporating “ Cherry Crest 2025-2026” into the artwork.

✨ Grand Prize: The 1st place design will be featured on the yearbook cover, and the artist will enjoy the honor of being “Principal for the Day!”
