Back to School Supplies Announcement

As a result of virtual instruction last year and limited use of school supplies, it is not necessary for families or students to purchase or provide any bulk school supplies. Instead, the school will provide all basic school supplies through the year. Your child’s teacher may make individual requests for unique or nonstandard items.

While not mandatory, students in Grade 2 and Grade 5 may wish to bring some of the suggested personal items (not shared with other students) listed at in this article on the BSD Cherry Crest Website: https://bsd405.org/cherrycrest/2021/08/supply-lists/

PTSA General Meeting on Tuesday, September 14

We invite you to join the first general meeting of the year tonight with your PTSA family and discover new ways to support our Comm(UNITY), even in this challenging time!

This is a great opportunity to learn about the structure and functioning of Cherry Crest PTSA and how we work with staff, students and families. Some unique topics at this month’s meeting will be:

• Principal Steere will share information about volunteer access to the school, vaccine status, update us on how the first weeks of school have gone, and provide information on how families can partner and work together to support their children.
• You will get to take part in reviewing and approving the 2021-22  budget and standing rules.

We  hope to see you there!

Your PTSA family
