Join FPS Club in Fall 2025

Join the Future Problem Solving (FPS) Club at Cherry Crest Elementary! This club empowers students to become creative thinkers and problem solvers.

FPS is an exciting competition where students tackle-real world challenges, brainstorm innovative solutions, and develop critical thinking skills. Students have the choice of competing in Global Issues Problem Solving (GIPS), Scenario Performance (ScP), or Scenario Writing (ScW). Through teamwork and strategic thinking, participants explore unique topics and compete at regional and national level tournaments!

Pop Star Learning Academy Summer Camp

Summer camp opportunity for students – A former Cherry Crest student is giving back to our community and offering spots at the “Pop Star Learning Academy” (PSLA).

Reflections 2025-26 Theme is “I Belong!”

The 2025-2026 Reflections theme is “I Belong!” and the theme was selected from student submissions. Students may enter in one or more of the available arts categories. The deadline for turning in artwork to will typically be in late autumn.

Summer Tutoring Available

Hi Cherry Crest! I am a former student teacher, Sarah Vavrin, who is once again available for summer tutoring. I am offering tutoring for all elementary grades at $75 per hour. I love gamifying learning and making learning FUN!

Sammamish Basketball Day Camp – June 19

SAMMAMISH BASKETBALL DAY CAMP

The Sammamish basketball program is hosting a Basketball Day Camp for 3rd – 8th graders on June 19 from 9am-3pm at Sammamish High School (main gym).

The Girls Varsity team and coaches will be running the players through fun drills, competition, games, and scrimmages over the course of the day. All levels welcome. Bring a water bottle and be ready to play!
