Did you know that nearly 1 in 4 children in the US rely on SNAP benefits for their food and meals?

With November 1st coming up and SNAP benefits being suspended, millions of children and families will struggle with food insecurity. If you are in need of support need of support, please check out some of the links provided and/or reach out to Mykela Fantone, School Counselor at Cherry Crest, for resources.

We are here for you! If you are looking for ways to support your community, please consider donating non-perishable foods, hygiene items, and gift cards to local food banks as they anticipate being inundated with needs.

Meet the Northwest Boy Choir at Preview Night

This special event is perfect for families who are curious about the Northwest Boychoir and want to see what it’s all about. Parents and boys ages 5–8 will meet our directors, explore our rehearsal space, and take part in a short sample class or rehearsal. It’s a fun, hands-on way to see if the boychoir is the right fit. Learn to Play Tennis with 425 Kids Tennis!

425 Kids Tennis is a nonprofit summer camp for elementary and middle schoolers who are at a beginner/intermediate level in tennis; even if your child is completely new to the sport, they are welcomed!

Students will spend a week with varsity level players in high school in the summer to enhance their game.

There is no cost for registration, and it will take place on Sammamish High School’s tennis courts; you can sign your child up here for one week between mid-July and early-August.
